ATSSA Flagging 4-Hour Basic Flagger
Certified by American Traffic Safety Services Association recognized by the Georgia Department of Transportation for utility and highway construction. Recognized in Georgia as well as the nation to satisfy flagging training requirements.
Competent Person Excavation
Certified by the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board. Meets part of the 12-hour requirement for the Utility Manager License and the Utility Foreman License initial and reinstatement applications. Take course within two years of application submission.
Per OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P, a trained Competent Person in Excavation is required to be on each job site while workers are present, and the excavation is open.
Competent Person Confined Space Entry
Certified by the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board. Meets part of the 12-hour requirement for the Utility Manager License and the Utility Foreman License initial and reinstatement applications. Take course within two years of application submission.
Per OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA, a trained Competent Person in Confined Space Entry and monitor is required to be on each job site while workers are performing confined space entry work.
Competent Person Excavation & Competent Person Confined Space Entry Refresher
(For Utility Foreman & Utility Manager License RENEWAL ONLY)This 8-hour course meets the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board requirements of approved safety training for the license RENEWAL of Utility Manager and Utility Foreman. This course is offered January – April of every odd year prior to the Georgia State license expiration date of April 30th.
Competent Person OSHA Silica Standard
This 4-hour course is designed for supervisors, project managers, foreman, safety professionals, owners, and decision makers on the jobsite. This review of OSHA's silica standard and training practical steps companies can take to protect workers from the hazards of silica exposure.
CPR/First Aid/AED
The National Safety Council approved course in CPR, First Aid & AED. OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1926 Subpart D requires for someone on the jobsite to be trained in CPR and Automated External Defibrillator procedures.
Damage Prevention (GUFPA)
The Public Service Commission (PSC) approved course is designed to help mitigate fines for Notice of Probable Violations (NOPV) for damages to underground utilities. The course is an overview of Georgia High Voltage Safety Act; safe work practices for excavators due to non-locates; and requirements and legal responsibilities under (GUFPA).
Worksite Utility Coordination Supervisor (WUCS)
Satisfies the Georgia DOT training requirement for Worksite Utility Coordination Supervisor (WUCS). The course is a proactive approach to Damage Prevention and includes an overview of the excavator responsibilities regarding the Georgia Utility Facility Protection Act (GUFPA).
Locating & Marking Underground Pipeline Facilities
This course is an Industrial Training Services product which allows you to receive Operator Qualification which is needed to locate Natural Gas facilities. Please bring Locating Equipment to class for the hands-on training (if available). If you take the class for GAS OQ, then further information will be provided by the instructor for continuing certification.
NPDES Level 1A Course & Exam (Blue Card)
State certified NPDES Course for Contractors, Builders, Site Superintendents, Grading & Utility Contractors, Developers, and Monitoring Consultants. You are required to have at least one person on-site from each entity involved with land disturbing activity be certified by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC).
*Individuals that attend this course must present the instructor with government issued photo ID.
NPDES Level 1A Recertification (Blue Card)
Recertification for NPDES Level 1A (Blue) card. Expires every three years. Attendees must present the instructor with government issued photo ID and current certification card or proof of valid certification (see list at https://gaswcc.georgia.gov/ ). Individuals can begin taking continuing education courses 1 year before their certification expires.
NPDES Level 1B Course & Exam (2-day course)
State certified NPDES Course is for Regulatory Enforcement Inspectors and individuals contracted to perform regulatory work.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry (1926)
The OSHA 4-day basic safety course covers Construction Industry Standard 29 CFR 1926. This course is designed for supervisors, project managers, foremen, safety professionals, and owners.
Utility Manager License Exam Prep Course
This course helps to prepare for the exam after the Utility Manager License Application has been approved by the Licensing Board. Bring books purchased from the State Construction Licensing Board Suggested Exam Reference List.
